I have a reptile store by me.  Many of his animals are his own pets.  He carries every kind of reptile.  He told me to buy a calcium/mineral power without D-3 and said it is the best on the market for adult Beardies and they do not need D-3 if they are eating their veggies.  (Berry flavored)

It is called "Sticky Tongue Farms"  It is phosphorous Free.  My Beardies are 10 months and 1 year.  I have always used Recal products with D-3.  Any comments on this product would be greatly appreciated.

Also can anyone tell me what is the age when you start giving BD's calcium supplements 3 times a week?

Thanks!

If you are using a tube UVB light, you need the calcium with D3. If you are using a mercury vapor bulb, you'll want the calcium without D3.

RepCal is what I use, and I know the reptile shop near me uses MINER-ALL. I like the RepCal, and they're the most recommended brand. I'd stick with the RepCal if I were you.

After your beardie is a year old you should be able to switch to three times a week on the calcium.

Hope that helps  Smiley
