I think those of us in the lower states ( Sc, Ga, Fl) are safe... Sending hopes that everyone north of us stays safe...
Being that I have been "evacuated" several times in the last 2 decades from possible and landing hurricanes, I have found that if you leave out the day before the outlying areas are "mandatory" evacuated, you tend to find empty roads, and quickly get to your destination.. Hope this helps ! |

Gem has sharps, Orion somewhat... Annebelle too... Yardley (sunfire X) doesn't really have sharp enough to poke us...
Hope this helps. |

Val... from what little I understand of those educations... Japan would be the highest rated if I remember right...
I also have an 18 year old.. and he can turn his hand to some very lovely hand drawn works.. He too, is a gamer nut... Just like Momma... lol |

As to where to aim the red dot.. Around 2" from the basking spot... Yes, those temps do need bumping up... Have you tried a house hold flood light yet ?
Those worked really well in my HUGE ( though not as huge as the ones Craig built) enclosures. Hope this helps. |

I have one of those toys, I fill it with peanut butter and give it to him when I leave for work.

Tessie has some really sharp ones and Boogies are OK. When I pet their backs I use one of their blanket because their skin is rough and my fingers do not pet smoothly without it. Of course their heads and tails are easier to pet.

Haha, I feel like such a child when I come here. I'm going into my last year in high school right now, and just starting to look at colleges. I'm interested in pursuing a career in video game art and animation, and right now I'm trying to balance school-searching with all of the classes I'm taking this year. I also have to get started on a portfolio, if I want to be accepted into any good animation programs. I'm academically sound, but so many colleges won't even look at you if you don't have a nice fat portfolio and resume stocked with prior experiences with the field you're looking at. :\ Ah, so much work ahead of me.

I've been poked too. It did hurt a little. It's just a certain way I grab Charlie that his spikes actually poke me and hurt.

Hi guys! I was just wondering if it's a common thing to have dragons with really rough skin and sharp spikes. Loki's very thorny, and if i hold him the wrong way I get poked painfully. Once one of the spines along the side of his belly actually pierced my skin.
![]() I know that there are lots of morphs that specialize in making the scales and spikes less prominent, like silkbacks, leatherbacks, etc... But how common is it for them to be really, really pointy? Haha. And what do your dragons "feel" like? |
