Where your fridge/cabinet/freezer full of adult beverages seemed ohhhhhhhhhhh so tempting? Yeah, it's one of those days.

Got a migraine, pharmacy completely messed up my BCP order and had to keep running out there so far a total of 4 times (still more to come), spent an hour trying to get through to the dr but its a busy line (typical for them), my mother keeps eggin me on to fight with her (we aren't on good terms), have to call the state to figure out which licenses I need to apply to in order to open up my online store, my bank suspended my bank card because they thought that all the purchases for my online store (domain, licenses, software etc etc.) was online gambling which is against their policy and BLAHHHHHHH NOTHING SEEMS TO GO RIGHT TODAY!!!!!!

Ok...I feel a little better having ranted about that.

Just thought I'd keep you updated!
He seems to be picking up more and more each day now Smiley
Ive got the temp in the tank right too which has made a huge difference.
He's eating!!! And is a beautiful sandy colour as opposed to the black patches he had before.

I put a little "cave" in his tank and he seems to hide in it and not bask.. as soon as i take it out he goes and basks.
Why does he do this??! I think I read another post about their dragon hiding all day... cant remember the reason..

Now I just need to find a new tank! Thank you for all the advice. x

Yay! Glad to hear he's perked up a bit  Grin

The hiding is usually due to relocation stress. It might be best to take the hide out until he's more comfortable in his new home. If he's hiding all the time, it will only make the adjustment process take longer.

I have the same problem. Sometimes when I make him a fresh salad dish he'll go over and lay in it like "ahhhh" and poop . I'm just like "NO!!!"

First, I hope your daughter surgery went ok and she is experiencing a speedy recovery.

Second, as Brian pointed out, lights not being on for half a day is doable.  With his health issues, you may want to invest in a light timer.  You can pick them up at Home Depot pretty cheaply.  For a couple bucks you will appreciate not being a slave to lights and you can ensure your beardie has a consistant light pattern (14 on/10 off).

As far as thowing up, it does happen on occassion for odd reasons.  I would watch the behavior closely.  If this does not reoccur, put your concerns on the back burner.  If it happens again, consider taking him in for a vet checkup.  Look for energy levels, appetite, and pooping.  It sounds like all of that is fine for now.

That typically isn't normal especially with live shipments. The fact that they haven't called you or responded back to you in any way is not a good sign. I haven't found too much on them on google just a couple things on fauna here and there about issues with customers. If anything call them back see what happens and if nothing happens dispute the charge with your credit card company or paypal (whoever you used). Hope everything works out
